DESCRIPTION

The Villas Bali Hotel and Spa began as the vision of artist Jim Elliott. He built the first villa for himself, incorporating traditional Balinese architecture with modern, western conveniences to suit his own creative needs. Soon friends, impressed with the simple elegance and lasting comfort, pressed him to build villas for them, following his original formula. A private villa that is a world within a world. Four walls containing lush gardens, individual thatched roofed bungalows, all featuring the latest audio visual equipment and centred around a deep water swimming pool. Every ingredient for a perfect life.

Then a very interesting thing happened. Since many of the villas were built as vacation homes it made perfect sense to start renting them out. In the beginning, it was exclusively to other friends.

Word spread. Suddenly, everybody wanted to rent our villas. From that grew the demand for a unique style of hotel management. As a business, The Villas Bali Hotel and Spa was born.

The Villas has three type of villas, they are:

1-Bedroom Villas
There are sixteen one bedroom private Villas at The Villas Bali Hotel and Spa. Each Villa is 200 sq. metres in size and comprises a large filtered swimming pool, sunbathing area, manicured gardens and fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area. The bedroom has air conditioning, a large en-suite bathroom, cable television, IDD phone and a walk-in wardrobe.

2-Bedroom Villas
There are seven two bedroom Villas, each 400 sq. metres in size. Both bedrooms are identical and open on to a large swimming pool, sunbathing area and tropical manicured gardens. Each bedroom includes air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, cable television, IDD phone and a walk-in wardrobe. Two bedroom Villas also have fully equipped kitchens with separate dining and lounge areas.

3-Bedroom Villas
There are twenty-five three bedroom Villas, each 600 sq. metres in size. Two of the three bedrooms are identical while the third bedroom is a separate 'round villa' located across the garden away from the other two bedrooms. All three bedrooms open on to a large filtered swimming pool, sunbathing area and tropical manicured gardens. Each bedroom includes air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, cable television, IDD phone and a walk-in wardrobe. All three bedroom Villas also have fully equipped kitchens with separate dining and lounge areas.

Restaurants

The Restaurant at Prana
Good health starts with a balanced diet and Prana offers a new experience for many, a section devoted entirely to "Live Food". Organically grown vegetables and salads are presented in our health menu, special herbal ingredients and cleansing drinks are all part of the daily fare. For those with slightly more conventional needs we have a traditional offering of international and Balinese items. Private barbeques with traditional Balinese music and dancers can also be arranged.

Room Service
We provide Room Service at The Villas Bali Hotel and Spa and guests can choose from our extensive in-villa dining menu with Asian, Indonesian and Western specialites or from the menu at The Restaurant at Prana. All dining options can be enjoyed in the privacy of your villa.

Atmosphere
Enter the lofty courtyard and the full meaning of Prana will be revealed to those in search of something different and meaningful in their lives. A relaxed yet strangely exotic atmoshere inspired by the palaces of the legendary Mogul rulers of Rajistan is before you. Prana Spa itself is a beweldering riot of colours combined into the traditional decor of Islamic arches and corridors. Hand painted ceilings and thick carpets all melded together by gold on gold of columns and walls. There are private areas for ladies and gentlemen and double rooms for couples enjoying the experience together.

Treatments

Our trained therapists will ease away your stress and tensions with a wide range of treatments and therapies. Everything from traditional Balinese massage to Ayurveda with special oils and scrubs imported from India are some of the many ways we transport you to a stress free mental plane some call Nirvana.
