The Balé, member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is a modern resort located on a breezy hill overlooking the Indian Ocean and walking distance away from the beach. A total of 20 luxurious pavilions. Every one of the pavilions is complemented with a generously proportionate private pool, steps of which lead down from the sliding doors of the bathroom, day bed and an open-air shower.

Bars and Restaurants:
Faces, our gourmet restaurant is located by the main poolside and features an open kitchen. The food offers a balanced menu with light and contemporary cuisine, thoughtfully prepared by our kitchen team led by an international Executive Chef.

The food at the Balé, described in Conde Nast Traveler as “one of Bali’s best” reflects the modern architectural style. While seemingly simple, it is rich in detail and flavor. The food is European based while influenced by Balinese and other Asian cultures.

Inspired by the philosophy of Sanctuary Resorts, our Chef chooses ingredients from a number of sources, keeping them organic wherever possible. Therefore while it is not “health food” or Spa Cuisine, the food at Faces Restaurant is lighter in execution using quality and organic ingredients.

Guests can choose from a wide selection of dishes and set menus while they can also work with the Chef in personalized meals.

A casual lounge by the main poolside complements the restaurant as the perfect place for cocktails in the evenings.

24 Hours Room Service with a wide selection of items including private barbeques with lobsters grills or beautifully prepared candle light dinners by the poolside thoughtfully prepared by our Chef and server by butlers.
