DESCRIPTION

La Taverna is a small comfortable hotel right on the beach in the heart of Sanur, the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Of the resorts in Bali Sanur is famous for its beautiful beach which fringes a blue lagoon and further out waves crash on the reef edge.

La Taverna is a traditional Balinese style hotel with bungalows set in beautiful lush gardens. It has a swimming pool and restaurant which nestle beneath the palms overlooking the beach.

The staff are traditional Balinese people, world famous for their smiling faces and gentle manner.

This is the old Bali, the Bali that has built a reputation for being paradise on earth, the island of the Gods.

The hotel has 45 rooms are available in a range of configurations including Standard, Superior and Deluxe. Family units are available each with two connecting rooms sharing a bathroom. There are also two storey suites two of which have there own private gardens. The Presidents Suite has its own garden leading onto the beach.

The style is Balinese with a strong Italian flavour. All the rooms have antique Balinese doorways and the furniture is also antique. The Garden Deluxe rooms have high thatched ceilings.

They are smaller than the superior rooms and are all located on the ground floor

* 12 Garden Superior Rooms
Contain a lounge plus sleeping area

* 4 Garden Deluxe Bungalow Style
Rooms are bigger than the superior rooms and have a lounge and sleeping area and are located on the ground floor

* 6 Family Unit
Consist of 2 bedrooms with separate bedrooms for parents and children, large terrace.

* 2 Duplex Suite Bungalow Style
2 story units with the main sleeping area upstairs and the lounge and additional sleeping area and bathroom downstairs

* 2 Grand Duplex Suite Bungalow Style
2 story units with main sleeping area upstairs and lounge and additional sleeping area and bathroom downstairs with a private garden courtyard

Bars and Restaurants:
La Taverna restaurant provides fine dining in the main restaurant building overlooking the pool, in the gazebo overlooking the beach or, if you wish, under the stars on the beach itself.

The menu has many Italian favourites along with international and Balinese meals. A comprehensive breakfast menu, a range of light meals during the day and of course fine dining meals in the evening.

La Taverna is famous for its pizzas and its wood fired pizza oven was the first in Bali.

Our chefs make their own pasta, foccacia bread is made fresh every day and the cappuccinos and lattes are made using the finest Italian coffee.

If you wish you can eat on your private verandah with a full room service available.

You will find that in Bali meals are very reasonably priced with a European style main course costing around US$7.
